1. Career Exploration
Appointment
Along with career exploration, we will also discuss previous times where your anxiety or other mental health challenge has prevented you from continuing on your Educational/Employment path.
We will then trial some evidence based activities which you will need to practice in between our appointments, to maximise their effectiveness.
These are not a quick fix but will form part of your own coping strategies. While I am not a psychologist or a psychotherapist, I have years of experience in successfully re-intergrating people back into education again after they have gaps. I also have a professional diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which is said to be an effective way in supporting people to cope with their own mental health.
I am also trained in using The Decider Skills Programme which is an evidence based Mental Health framework that uses Cognitive Behavioural and Dialectical Behavioural therapies to help people recognise and manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Aswell as my professional qualifications & experience, I have personal experience of how poor Mental Health can affect ability to re-engage in social, educational and employment contexts and truly believe that with the right supports and coping techniques, recovery is possible.
Generally 6 + meetings are recommended to include the holistic aspect to these sessions, to prevent the same patterns continuing.
Invest in yourself and your future, to prevent the same pattern continuing.
Appointments are €60 per hour either face to face or through zoom.
Lower cost options are also available.

3.School Leaver Package:
Most online free tests give automated, rigid answers that don’t take account of the young person’s emotional maturity, learning environment or personal anxieties.
In my school leaver package, psychometric testing is only the starting point. I personally analyse the results from the pre-consultation questionnaire along with the results of the psychometric tests. I look at the whole person rather than basing it solely on the results of an assessment.
Our 1st hour long one to one meeting will involve exploring your son or daughter's strengths, interests and values. I will then send an email link for them to complete the test at home.
When this is finished, I will print out the full report for you which also includes lots of helpful tips, action plans and useful resources to assist.
Our next hour long one to one meeting will focus on the report and my professional neutral analysis that connects personality, skills and emotional needs.
Following on from this, I send a summary email outlining our discussion.
The cost for this package is €220, to be paid up-front.
I also offer a 30 minute zoom/telephone call/ emails within the month to discuss any questions from the last meeting. The charge for this is €30 or if purchased with the package, the cost to you is €240 upfront.
If you are in receipt of a social welfare payment,we can discuss a payment plan.
